Test Procedure & Results

Now, we will continue to test MyRecover and see if it is able to recover deleted files in Windows 10. It also matters how much data is recovered. Before starting, you need to know this software is a data recovery software for Windows 7, 8, 10, 11, and Windows Server 2008(R2), 2012(R2), 2016(R2), 2019, 2022, etc.

Data files:

Firstly, we download and install MyRecover it on a Windows 10 PC. Secondly, we delete files (two PNG image files and two MOV videos) in the two most common data loss scenarios. Thirdly, we try to recover deleted files in Windows 10 using MyRecover.

Data tests:

We deleted files in the following two scenarios, one after another.

File deletion: delete the above data files from local C: drive and empty the Recycle Bin to make data recovery more difficult. Then, try to recover them.

Disk formatting: format the disk containing above data files using the formatting option. Then, scan this disk and recover them in it.

Data Results:

MyRecover is very easy to use and you can get started straight away. After opening this software, we hovered the mouse to C: drive and click the Scan option. It will run Quick Scan & Deep Scan automatically to scan all the recoverable files.

During the scanning process, we used the “Filter” feature to locate and preview the two PNG image files and MOV video files mentioned above.

They appeared to be intact and we restored them to a new location to prevent data overwriting.

Then, we checked them later to make sure they were the same as they were.

The scanning process was quite fast, taking only 5 minutes for about 100GB data. So you can also choose to wait for the final result and see if there are any other files needed to be recovered.

Then, in the second test, scan the formatted hard drive instead. MyRecover also found two PNG image files and two MOV videos deleted beforehand and recover them successfully. But this  time the file name is missing.

Conclusion

In sum, MyRecover is worth trying data recovery software if you have deleted files in Windows 10. It also applies to other operating system, such as Windows 11, Windows Server 2019, Windows Server 2022, etc.

It also supports crashed PC recovery, which is especially suitable for situation where your computer becomes unbootable due to system crashes, blue screen, black screen, or any other computer issue.
